Hyperterminal for Fedora Core 5

I am trying to console into a switch with Fedora Core 5, I am not sure what program to use for this.

Any suggestions?

If your looking for something smaller than minicom, there is also a microcom -- spesifically small enough to fit on floppy distro of Linux.
