I have an access database that has a part number(which is always changing) which is the criteria for a search on another web page. I know that you can pass that value in the hyperlink just by having something like ?Niin=46545646 after the summary.asp my problem is that I have to log on to a login.asp page first giving an Accessmode, sess & Prod values (these never change) before the summary.asp page comes up. Is there anyway around this? If I go straight to the summary.asp page an login screen comes up which I don't have the information for.

don't use the GET method (querystring/hyperlink....)

Use a POST method to submit the form collection. That way you can Server.Transfer the collection on to the thrid process page

Do you mean the search page your trying to access is on someone else's domain and your trying to just pass some search parameters? (maybe to scrape the results into your site)

If thats the case then your going to have to figure out something for the login first.

Basically I wanted to open an internet page from my site that has more data about my items. The problem is there is a login.asp before I can get to the summary.asp. I can get past the login.asp I have the session id and accessmode values but then my automation is messed up. I guess I'm asking if there is a way to do one step then the next all in one hyperlink.
