I am using Crystal version 9 and have written a report that provides a hyperlink to a government web site if a particular criteria is met. Now, the link works great directly out of Crystal in preview mode, works fine when exported to MS Word, but manages to get truncated in the IE address field when the report is exported to Adobe PDF and a link within the pdf is selected. Since the link is cutoff, it then defaults to an unrelated/incorrect link within this gov site.

Is there something I could do within IE to increase the internet address field size? Or should I finese the pdf to somehow default to another browser? If so, how? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi jahgardener
Did you find a solution to your problem? I am having a similar problem with hyperlinks that are being built in ASP. In the code, the href statement contains the full address but when you are on the page and go to click the link, the address is truncated. I am using IE and it would seem that there is a maximum length of 128 char for a hyperlink. Can anyone confirm this??
