I have successfully used hyperlinks in my excel 97 spreadsheets (to both internet URL's and to call up another spreadsheet) but I am having trouble getting it to simply take me to a named cell in another sheet in the same workbook. Is there a special protocol for the formula? Is there a better / easier way to do this? Is there a formula that does the same thing as the F5 goto keystroke?

Thanks for your help. I am sure this is a rookie question, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Yes, I have NAMED the cell I want to goto on the other sheet in the workbook.

No special formula is needed.

Click Insert on the toolbar. Choose Hyperlink at the bottom. Put a tick in the relative path option then click on browse next to Named location. Click the defined name radio button and then pick from the options given. Click OK and then again. This should work.

If this doesn't work can you let us know where it breaks down and what error messages you get.

Should look like Sheet name!Cell reference (Sheet1!A1 takes you to sheet one, cell A1)....
