Hyper-V and App server

Does the app server R11.1 SP1 work with Hyper-V? and if so what should I use the ISO or the OVA? We are trying to load the ISO but it keeps failing as it is saying "performing DHCP negotiations", it seems to be trying to boot to a PXE Network boot. then goes to saying no UEFI compatible file system found.

Figured this out it was the virtual instance set up. we need to remove the HD and re-install as a generation 1 HD.

another update it still would not work it is not supported until next year sometime. Had to install R11.0 FP4 SP4 for this to work.

If you have Hyper-V you need to leave your while install on R11.0 and not go to R11.1 yet. Avaya do not supprot Hyper-V as yet. Annoying as they do support PoweredBy in Azure (which I bet is Hyper-V based being MS).

I belive they were planning to have this ready for October, but still waiting. I keep asking Avaya as I have multiple customers waiting for this.

If anybody from Avaya is reading this, it is very, very poor that this is not available yet.

Wonder who from Microsoft ticked off Avaya as they no longer want to support Windows for VM Pro also.

Yeah I am in the same boat, there is a KB somewhere on the Avaya site mentioning Hyper-V in October. Still nothing

Had to use R11.0 FP4 SP4 as R11.1 would not work.

I've managed to install an earlier release in Hyper-V using the ISO but this isn't supported.

The OVA is for use with Vsphere.
