sorry for my hysteria today but the CEO is very upset and i need to make him happy. CAN I IDU A POLYCOM? I know i can't IDU an M2317 but if a POLYCOM is physically connected to an active jack and i IDU it and get NPR messge 501 does that mean there is DEFINITELY no Polycom in that jack? thank you.

No, it's an analog set; so IDU will not work for you there.

IDU only works on digital sets that have a processor in them. IE 2000, 3900 and I sets.

Does the CEO has a M3904? if he has one you may add a ATA the set and program the Polycom.
