huntgroups with voicemail 1

hi ! every one!

i have a parts dealer with 2 phones on parts desk (main saler x221 and sometime to time one other...x225 ) callpilot100 ccr fwd to x 221 , x225 can answers via dn answer,
if x221 is busy fwd to hg group x290...

then , i wish used one HG for x221 and 225 (if busy or overflow fwd to 2nd HG(x224,x225,x226) AA menu fwd 1st HG(x221-225)

at this time all is good , but my question is... how can i do to have my voice mail message assigned to phone's x221', without using hunt group virtual mail box''vm290 or 291.... x221 is using T7316e with red warning for VMail,

It was clear.

Calls are transferred to HG 290 from a CCR menu.

HG 290 has two members: 221 and 225.
HG 291 has three members: 224, 225 and 226.

HG 290 overflows to HG 291.
HG 291 overflows to CallPilot (so the caller can leave a message).

how can i do to have my voice mail message assigned to phone's x221', without using hunt group virtual mail box''vm290 or 291....

All you need to do is add the HG DN as an Alternate Extension for Mailbox 221.

In other words, you enter Configuration (Feature 983), change Mailbox 221 and set the first Alternate Extension to 291.

Once it is done, calls will ring the members of HG 290. If HG 290 is busy or when the queue timeout occurs, calls will ring the members of HG 291. If HG 291 is busy or when the queue timeout occurs, calls will end up in Mailbox 221.

I'd certainly be curious to see if that works but I don't think so. ALT DN is for message notification and access from a 2nd phone, not for message taking from 2 DN's.

alternate extension work #1 all non answered calls goes to VM x221 ..and i am able to take vm directely with phone 221 with vm 221...

then ... i don t know if somebody have a trick for...
when part's salers ''x221 and x225 (HG01)'' one or both are none available or out
for short time ...there is a little longer ringing delay to access to VM ...cause we have to adding the delay of 2 HG...

HG01:x221-5 broadcast,overflow HG02,QUEUE TIMEOUT 15
HG02:x224-5-6 broadcast,overflow VM,QUEUE TIMEOUT 15
X221 FNA TO VM 4 RINGS FWB HG02
X222 FNA TO VM 4 RINGS FWB HG02
X224-5-6(HG02) FNA to VM FWB VM

The Only one trick for reduce delay (when my 2nd parts saler(x225) is out for the day
i put x225 (transfer to x221 Feature 4 )i think that enable to swing rapidely to the 2nd HG... but i don t do at this time ...

ALT DN is for message notification and access from a 2nd phone, not for message taking from 2 DN's.

Alternate Extensions offer the same features as the primary Extension.

If Alternate Extensions would only be notified of message waiting, I believe they would have been called otherwise (Alternate Message Waiting, maybe). They would also disappear from the mailbox configuration if the Message Waiting setting was set to No.

Alternate Extensions allow multiple sets to share one mailbox. For example, a manager and his/her assistant can have the same mailbox. It doesn't matter whether a call rings at the manager's set or at the assistant's set, it ends up in the shared mailbox.

Members of a HG can turn on Do Not Disturb (DND) (Feature 85) when they aren't available.

That way, if 221 is already on a HG call and 225 has DND turned on, HG 290 is considered busy. As a result, it immediately overflows to HG 291.

i put x225 (transfer to x221 Feature 4 )i think that enable to swing rapidely to the 2nd HG... but i don t do at this time ...

The HG routing overrides Call Forward, whether it is Call Forward on Busy, Call Forward No Answer or Call Forward All Calls.

You can use the DND feature instead.
