I have an VP with an issue with his call hunt pattern. His phone hunts to his admin and her phone hunts to another cover number then to VM. If the admin puts her phone in cover/send calls, the VPs phone rings but never goes to VM. I have reset each FDN and HUNT and the problem continues. I set the admin's phone to go to VM instead of the 3rd phone and it worked fine. The problem seems to be in the 3rd number. Suggestions?

SFA is already set. What does SFA stand for?

sceondary forwarding allowed...do both phones have fna and fdn set to voice mail.. hunt will not take a phone to voice mail if it's ringing

Here's what I got:

7090:
FDN 2094
HUNT 2094

2094:
FDN 7093
HUNT 7093

7093:
FDN 4509 (VM)
HUNT 4509

if 2094 is busy, and 7093 does not answer, it never forwards? just set up the same options here in the switch room and it works.. all numbers are marped right, marp is turned on all sets have sfa fna hta?

All lines have MARP and sfa, fna, and hta. The way it is supposed to work is 7090 rings to 2094 then to 7093. This seems to work fine as long as 2094 is not busy.

Got it to work. I used a known good hunt to compare. I needed to add the following CLS's - UNR, PUD, CNDA, SFD, ICDA, CFHD, FICD.

However, I'm having a problem finding the meanings for each of these and why they made a difference. Any help?

UNR: Unrestricted access for outgoing calls (dangerous choice)
PUD: Call pick up denied; pertains to ability to pickup calls ringing on other phones
CNDA: Call Party name display allowed
SFD: Second level call forward no answer denied (opposite of SFA mentioned in earlier posts)
ICDA: Internal call detail recording allowed
CFHD: Call forward by call type denied
FICD: Forward intercome calls denied

Other than CFHD and SFD, the other choices really did not apply to your situation.

So why did it work? I set the SFA and CHFA to deny.

It was probably the cfhd/cfha. prt your RDR data in ld 21 and look it over, also look up call forward by call type and second level call forward in the software features guide to learn more about them.
