hunt group 3

I have a hunt group setup, with a time profile.

When the time profile ends the calls go stright to voice mail, is there way to forward these calls to another number instead of going to voice mail.

Yes make a new group and in the fallbakc tab of the frist group were you see night click on there and you will be able to put in another group so when that group go's into night service it will ring the next group.
 
How do I determine what service it goes in to out side the time profile.

How would you set it up so that after the time profile is ended that it goes to night services.
 
in fall back, you have too falback groups
Out of Service & Night Service
Outside of the time profile calls go to the Night Service destination.

 
When making a new groups will a merg config work or do you have to a do a reboot to get the new group to show in the call manager, also I have one of my trunks set to FWD to call indina. After i add this trunk to a new hunt group should it fwd the call to indina , When the other group goes in night service and the new group is the fall back group.

with R2.1 you can just merge - prior to that you have to reboot when adding a new huntgroup.

Not really clear on what your asking about India - when you say you have the trunk call forwarded, do you mean at the CO level - ie the line itself is forwarded? Or, it currently has an incoming call route that redirects callers out another line to India, and now you want to have those calls come into a hunt group instead?

Thanks for the reply; basically I have one ext/trunk number that is fwd to India.

When I call that ext its fwd to India no problems. What I have to set up: I have another hunt group that takes incoming calls at a cretin time, when the time profile stops it falls to night service, can i make a new hunt group and add the ext that is fwd to Indian so when the main hunt group stops it will go to this new hunt group and fwd the call over seas.

Yes - make the night service group Linear, and for the extension that is forwarded to India enable Forward Huntgroup Calls in the forwarding tab.

Everything is working great, the problem I have now, is when they set the phones to night service wile in the time profile the calls get fw overseas the way it should , but they want the calls to go to Voice mail. When a person wanted to take a break they would set the phone to night service and the call would go to VM but now it goes to overseas the way should but they still want to be able to set the phone to VM

Is there another option on the phone to set it to VM instead of using the night service button.

Duhh , i could set another time profile for the other hunt group that way it will be allways in night service tell the time profile kicks in.

 
Set the main group to Out of Service instead of Night Service when the agents take a break (this willneed a change of short codes)
