Thanks for any suggestions:

I've recently had users complain that they are able to collect VM from a group box, simultaneously.
Prior to our last VM upgrade this was not possible apparently?

Is there any way to limit Hunt Group VM collection, to one user at a time?
If two people collect the messages, both get the prompt that there are x new messages.
This causes duplicate follow up calls to clients. Neither knows that the other has already collected the VM.

what version of IPO & VM are you running?

it sounds as though you may have identified a bug

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
I would try that yourself, login from two phones at the same time.

IPO 8.1.67 and VM 8.1.9102.
Voicemail is centralized on this server.

I've tested by having one user access the HG Voicemail and wait at the prompt that says: "press 2 to hear your new messages", then I've logged in, and the wav file plays: "you have x new messages" "press 2 to hear your new messages" etc.
This would be normal behaviour I suppose because the status flag for the new message would still be +N.

It would be better if the second access was not allowed.
 
I have heard of this issue too at one of our customers who has more then a hundred of voicemail on one group each day.
