I have setup a hunt group 8260 and added members. I set the queue timeout to 15 seconds, mode to broadcast and the overflow to go to the vm extension 8068. I have setup a vmbox 8260 in the CallPilot and assigned the extension to be 8260.

When the queue timeout occurs it goes directly to the general delivery mailbox and not the 8260 mailbox. Any ideas?

TIA,
->brian

Yep, even recorded name and greeting.

Is this happening on calls comming in from the outside or does it also happen if someone just picks up and dials the Hunt Group DN?

check that your transfer callback timer is not set to a lower time than the queue timeout in the Hunt Group

You can not send a hunt group to a vm this way.
The MB needs to be the HG DN and on the overflow enter the VM DN(f985) then it will work.

Transfer Callback timer is 12 rings way higher than the 15 second overflow

Call is transferred from another hunt group.

The mailbox is the same as the Hunt group DN 8260 and the overflow DN is 8068 which is the voicemail extension (f985).

So it is transferred from 1 Hunt Group to the next Hunt Group and then to VM? In that case try making the mailbox match the first HG DN. If I remember right VM sees the Original dialed DN.

going one step further than hawks
you may be able to have the first hunt group dn an alternate dn in the second hunt groups mailbox, so 1 mailbox 2 dn's

haven't done it for hunt groups before, but may work

HALLOWED ARE THE ORI

We have a winner, the first HG 8259 forwards to HG 8260, setup a VM on 8259 and after the timeout on HG 8260 with it set to go to VM it goes to the VM for 8259.

You guys are awesome, and here I thought I had you stumped.

Thanks a million!
