Hunt Group to Auto Attendant

Customer has an IPO 500(version 7.0)embedded voicemail. They have four lines that ring the main hunt group( consists of 5 phones). What they want is after 5 rings they want it to go to the auto attendant that gives them the option to dial a person's extension. They don't want a general mailbox. I have tried to setup an overflow hunt group that consists a phantom extension that forwards to a short code. Everytime I call the phantom extension or the overflow hunt group it rings once and says, "The party is unavailable, please leave a message at the tone." I am I missing something. Thank you.

Dont't forget to tick the "forward huntgroup call" option on the user setting
