Hey Everyone,

I am trying to get a hunt group to ring at my set indefinetly, but right now my extension on my set voicemail keeps picking it up. I've done a lot of searching and maybe I just don't have my mind working in PBX mode.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Steve

Remove Foward no answer on your ext.
You will not get any voice mail messages and your phone will ring with out voice mail picking up.

Is it possible to have my extension on my set with voicemail and have another line/huntgroup ring on my phone without my voicemail picking it up?

Thanks for the quick answer!

Steve

if the line or lines in hunt group ring on your phone then the hunt group will follow the fna or hunt of phone...

ONLY 21 WEEKS TILL SKI SEASON STARTS

Foward no Answer works off of ringing, so if your phone rings, it won't matter if it is a hunt call, intercom call, or line ringing in, it will foward to voice mail.
No way around it.
Gabriel.

You can set up the Hunt Group DN on an ATA that has a Bell or Chime in your area. Put it in the same pickup group as your phone or use directed pickup.

A line ringing on a hunt group button will not be answered by the set voicemail until the call leaves the hunt group or the delay ring transfer (DRT) to prime causes the voicemail to answer (usually the Gen Del MB). There are many settings which could be causing you problems.

Set prime set to none in line programming for the line in question.
Assign your set to the hunt group.
Make sure that the line is not programmed to your set or programmed to ring on any other set.
Assign the line to the hunt group.
Set the call to overflow back into the hunt group DN (This is default).

I have just set this up on my system and it rings forever (CICS 6.1 and CP100) without going to my mailbox.

Hope I did not leave any details out.

Rob
