Hunt Group Priority

Hi all,

I have a question in regards to Hunt Group and more specifically I 'd like to know if a Hunt group can be given a priority... Let me explain what im trying to achieve:

Our company wants to switch from having individual DDI for each department to one single number. Thats fine (usign VM pro to create menus im fine with that.). As well as this main number there would be another 3 other seperate DDI ending on the same departments but depending on the number the customer dialled we would like to have priority on the answering.

I figured that the VM Pro queueing system will not be usable as surely you cannot tell someone he is second in the queue to then third if a VIP cust calls in?

So thats where my question comes in... I am planning on creating individual hunt groups in each department, one for each "priority" numbers. Of course this can only work if i can set priority on those Hunt groups since the same agents will be logged in to multiple HG.

Am I making sense? Can it be done?

My system: IPO 412 (Latest Release) + VM Pro (latest Release also).

You can set priority by Incoming call route, so you can either set all calls on a DDI to a certain priotity or set calls from a set number to be higher priority either way :)
