What is the Simplest way to Forward Hunt group calls to an external number.

Back ground info:

I have changed out a Norstar to a BCM50 rel5.

2 departments each having their own lines and Hunt groups.

One Department requires a line to Ring their Huntgroup which has 6 members then to overflow to a Huntgroup Mailbox if not answered.

That has been set up and working.

The 6 members also have their own DDI numbers and Mailboxes.

Thats why i'm using a HuntGroup because they dont want their Main Number to go to the members Mailboxes.

All this works Great.

Now they want to Callforward the Main number at Night time to another external number but leave the mailbox working during the day.

When the Norstar was installed it had no mailboxes so the lines ring directly to the extns, 1 person would then call forward (F4 9 number) to external number.

Now that i have introduced Mailboxes for each extn user and using a Huntgroup How do i call forward to an external Number.
The Hunt group Ignores Call forwarding by the extn user.

Hoping for plenty of ideas or a "tried and tested" solution
that some one has used .

Hi what i do is get a snother handset and set the overflow of the hunt group to this dn and then set a call forward on this dn to the external no.

You could assign your target line to a table instead of the hunt group and use two transfer Node CCR, one for the day that will transfer to your hunt group and the other one for night that will transfer to the external number.

Thanks for the replys

SmoothPlayer: I have no other phone points in the room to add another extn and the customer didn't what this anyway.

gberger: I did try that home transfer node but you seem to get that anoying "one moment please" before transfering..
The client also didn't want the customers to press options either as the people who ring in are quite elderly(old dears) and they didn't want to confuse them!!!!!!!
as soon as they hear voices they try to have a conversation.

I have opted to go with a service mode set to AUTO each night and switch off in the morning to force the line to ring 1 extn then they can just do the call forwarding like they use to.

This way the line will ring the extn as well as the huntgroup then the call forwarding will transfer out to the mobile number

seems to work
I checked the Basic Activity Reporter for the past few days and was able to see the Tandem calls in and out.

Thaks again for replys
