Hunt group call waiting.

Has anyone had an issue with thr IP 500 version 4.0 (10) With users in a hunt group not being able to see or hear a second call comining in while on a call? As if the call waiting on the hunt group was not working.
 
It's a known issue with 4.0.10. I've heard there is a private build out there or you could revert back to 4.0.7.
 
Do you know where I can find this build?
 
You need to get it from your Avaya Vendor, they will have access through their distributor.
 
I was hopeing to not have to wait on them.Ihave a call into them but i have not heard back on this issue yet.
 
It is also being addressed in the next maintenance release, but who knows when that will come out.
 
I heard that is going to com out in December, so I can't wait til then to get this fixed.
 
I just found out this is a bug in 4.0 (10) and there is a patch to fix this coming out in the next week or so.
 
Its not a bug. It works the way it was designed. The problem is that it was designed poorly and will be restored to the previous way on the next maintenance release.
 
That's what the Avaya tech told us. It was a bug in the programming. Ronromano can this be found on the avaya support site??
 
No. It's on the FTP site and is password protected. Call your authorized dealer.
