Ok, New hunt group issue.

MICS 5.0, T1, PRI. NAM 4.0.04C

Calls come into the main Target line (145) to the reception telephone. That phone is FNA to hunt group 707 after 3 rings. all was well until a suspected power outage (power flicker). Programming still looks the same yet the auto attendant picks up on 3 rings instead of the hunt group. If the phone is forwarded to 707 the phone still rings three times and then is answered by the AA. Its like the hunt group doesn't exist anymore, yet the programming looks the same and correct.

I have powered the system down and it returned to life with the same issue. Is this a time for a system startup?
anything else to look at first?

Chris

I was going to do that after the reboot. When I powered down the voice mail lost its connection and was therefore out of the pitcure. Then calls just rang at the front desk 3 times and then fowarded to the VM extension with no answer.

I then rebooted the voice mail which came back to life and the same problem returned.

No programming changes had been made and the system was operating fine before a certain day that there was also a reported power outage... man I don't want to reprogram this system. I guess I could restore from an slightly older backup which is better than nothing.

Some things to try....

What happens when calling reception internally?

Double check FNA under T&S

Check line 145 in F983/AA/Lines and make sure it's set to N.

Turn vmail off under F983, reboot, turn it back on.

Reprogram only the hunt groups.

Perhaps DRT to prime was reset back to 3 rings (I think that is the default setting), and prime on the line is set to the VM DN. Something to check, anyway.
