Having a difficult setting up Manual Night Services
Here is my scenario. I have TGT Line 241 Anwsered by AA on zero rings, caller zeroes out
Call goes into a HG (2404) Distributed to DN's 2000,2001,2009,2023,2024
Distribution time is 30 seconds after which it overflows to DN 2000
This is the set that has the VM Box for that TGT Line.
Call then follows CFNA parameters 3 rings during day and goes to VM. GREAT

Night is the problem.
Ringing Service Button assigned to DN 2000 Ring Group 01 only has VM DN assigned (2251) TGT Line 241 Manually set Ring Group 1. Control set for line is DN 2000.

I CAN NOT GET THE THING TO GO INTO NIGHT MODE. DN 2000 should be able to night night button and calls go to VM immediately.

Any Ideas What Am I Missing

Did u assign ring grp 1 to nite ringing svc? Did u set nite ringing svc to manual (choices r off, manual, auto)?

When u press the nite button what do u get? Does it show svcs on or say denied?

It actually is doing what you have set it up to do.
The target line is going to voicemail in night mode.

Your problem is you have AA answering with 0 rings and Night doing the same thing.
The AA is getting the Call first.
Set AA to answer after 1 ring
Then when night is activated the ring group will get the line and make 2251 ring.
Set 2251 to forward to voicemail box using F984.
this way the call goes to the mailbox.

If you are using night in this mode remember ALL LINES ring group 001 as default.
I suggest you use Ring group 002 instead.

I tried what you suggested AA picks up after 1 ring
DN 2000 sets phone to forward to DN 2251 and Activates Night Service. Still being distributed in the hunt group for the designated time. Did also switch to ring group 2.

Anything else i may be missing

Do you want AA to answer in night mode or do you want the call to go straight to ext 2000's mailbox without hittng AA?

Is 2251 the voicemail dn(f895)
or is 2251 a users extension number.

if 2251 is the Voicemail number then thats why it will still go to AA.

The number you put in ring group 2 should be the users Extension number.not the vm number
so when the line rings the users extension it then follows forward to voicemail from the users extension number.

it only goes into voicemail if you direct the line to an EXTENSION with voicemail attached.

Cool I got it to go to VM in night mode.
2251 is VM DN 2000 is DN od that MBOX

I prefer to have AA answer first then the caller has options
to reach other extensions. If the opt for zero the go to DN 2000's VM with out follwing hunt pattern

Thanks
