HUNT and FDN problem

OK, I have a simple need, but it doesn't seem to be working. The 3904 set posted below needs to HUNT and FDN to the 3903 set, but if the 3903 set doesn't answer it needs to go back to the 3904 sets voicemail. Currently the way things are working it HUNTS and FDN's to the 3903 set and then just keeps ringing and ringing. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get it working correctly? Thanks TJ

What is 000 on that 3903?

There's no voicemail setup on the 3903. They don't want voicemail on that phone. I tried doing a change and typing HUNT X and it gave me a sch0349 error.

you will need to add cls sfa to the phones and change the fdn and hunt on the 3903 to go to mail. Calls directly to the 3903 will go to mail also. If you don't want calls directly to the 3903 to go to mail than you can fdn and hunt the 3904 to a newly built phone that fdn's and hunts to mail and put an appearance of that new phone on the 3903.

That is because HTA is not HTD. might try that again. The unanswered call should revert to the originally dialed number, don't understand why it would continue to ring beyond RCO 0.

What if the 3903 does not have a voicemail box? Won't the caller who tries to call the 3903 directly get a message about "you have been forwarded to a voicemessaging service however there is no subscriber"?

I just went ahead and tried it and it is working after adding sfa and hunting the 3903 phone to VM. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

You are correct that calls directly to ext. 7677 will go to mail and get "you have been forwarded to a voice messaging service however there is no subscriber"? The one way I listed abouve will get you around this.
