I need to perform an HTTPS transfer file transfer, put. Anyone know if the tool can perform https:
 
sorry to be dumb. IBM, Windows or other secr option...
 
Hi jvmerc,
Not sure what release you are at. You'll need to use the HTTP adapter in order to perform an HTTP Post to the receiver. I assume you have the xml format imported (or built) in Type Designer, so you will map the input file to your xml structure and then use the HTTP Get function to transfer to the receiving module (.srv ? or.....). Not sure if the servlet will give a response (success or [ponder] ??)- it should (good/practical design), but you'll then need to interrogate the 'reply' to know if it worked or issue a FAIL, for recovery. Most designs send an xml structure back with results. We have numerous interfaces using this method in production. Hope this is helpful. Regards. [sunshine]
