Hi

My setup is MIVB 8, MiCollab 8.1 clustered with MBG in custom mode. MiCollab client softphone works on PC and mobile in LAN mode and teleworker. Rather than download the client some users want to use the web based phone. So takes you to the login page, I can login and enable the softphone but it does not register with the MBG even though the softphone looks like it should work. My WebRTC gateway is micollab.domain.com, WebRTC is enable on MBG.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I forgot to add, if i run a packet capture on MBG and enable concurrent signalling capture, I see no SIP INVITE/REGISTER from by public IP

the error I get is "CONNECT to WebRTC Gateway failed! Please check your WebRTC Gateway configuration" which I have its micollab.domain.com

TNA tool says ports 443 and 5063 are open, also as I say deployment profile works for SIP softphones.

Does both the hostname of the mbg and micollab resolve externally to the MBG's public ip address? Does the certificate on the MBG have both names?

in WEBrtc settings - have you checked both MBG ( external and Onboard)

is it set to host client locally or seperate server
is mode anonymous and subscriber
is the anonymous pabx set
What is the security mode
what is the whitelist blacklist mode set to

Also What UDP RTP ports are open ?
default for WBRTC is 32000-33500

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Deployment profiles should show what webrtc for subscribers will use for the host name

On the external MBG Under allowed URI's on the SIP Settings page, have you allowed the MiCollab FQDN?

Thanks jpruder&benny89 yep both set. Once I have the MBG FQDN resolving to the public IP I can try again

Hi

Now my standalone MBG has DNS I see SIP registrations come in but they are from 7*71234@192.168.0.1. I dont have a PBX with this IP and have no idea why it is doing this. 7*71234 is my softphone DN

Any help please

Is this test being done with something on wifi? I almost looks like an internal nat address

It could also be SIP ALG on the client side router causing issues with the registration.

I would think a SIP ALG would change it to the external value

whare is the softphone running ?
is that the Ip of the PC thats running the web client

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
