We are using a x750e. We need something very simple. We want employees to be able to get to the private corporate website from outside the network. We have created a http service that has the FROM field set to Any-External and the TO field set to NAT the external IP to the IP of the webserver that has this website. When a external user tried this thaey get a webpage cannot be displayed message. But in the traffic monitor it says that it is being allowed. It sounds as if there is an outgoing problem but for the life of us we cannot figure out what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am by no means a firebox professional, so please be kind.
thanks

Are you 100% sure that the internal address is correct? It sounds like you have it configured correctly, I would just check the addressing.

if i enter that IP inside the network it goes to the proper web server. Sadly Watchguards tech support has not been very helpful. I am at a loss. I appreciate the help and anything else you can think of or have us try just throw it out there.

Yeah, WatchGuard's tech support is terrible (which is why we've replaced all of our gear with Cisco ASA's). If you still have a support login on watchguard.com then go to their user forum. You will get your question answered there I can almost guarantee it.

Solution was found and you were right about the forums. a user suggested that we make sure that the firebox interface and the default gateway of the webserver were the same and it was not. We made the changes and it worked.
Thank yu for the help

So it was the addressing ;-) ...good, I'm glad you got it sorted
