I am having a strange issue that started popping up yesterday. Whenever a caller dials one of the 96XX series phones extensions or dials the DiD number, after the call is completed the phone Wants you to Enter authentication credentials. It says the following

HTTP Authentication
Enter authentication credentials
Realm: LIBUSER ID: [ ]
Password [ ]

If I hit the cancel key the phone goes back to normal with a message that the back-up failed.

Ive never seen this before. It doesnt happen with the 4621 VOIP sets we have.

Any thoughts

Have you checked the authentication options in the 46xxsettings.txt file?

I believe it is trying to do an automatic backup of the phone. Do you have this set up? If not, check your 46xxsettings.txt file and change the RESTORESTAT option to disable.
