Hi everybody !!!

Can someone either help me out or send me off to some tutorial thats can?
I want to send a email that has pics, links, graphics etc etc....
I recieve them all the time from companies offering me things but Im not sure how to do it myself. I have seen a few websites that do it for you they call it HTML Newsletters but you have to pay for it, can it be done using normal design software such as Photoshop, flash and stuff like that ???

any help would be great !!!

Thanks !!!

Aaron...

Hey,

its just HTML! But you have to be able to send emails in HTML format, and your intended recipients should be able to recieve emails in HTML format.

U familiar with HTML? Need references for that?

I use Dreamweaver 4 and dont realy bother about the HTML I just learnt using that, can you make them up using dreamweaver 4 ????
for emails I use outlook express, if I can recieve them im guessing I can send them?

So I would just have to create a html page, what about the pics ??

If you just need to send a straightforward html email (i.e. it doesn't need a content management system) its just a case of creating the html document in dreamweaver as you would normally. For the images, make sure that they have absolute paths (for example so that the images don't need to be sent with the email, just sourced directly from your web site.
To send the page just open it in your browser and go to file>send>page by email.

It is also possible using a combination of asp/xml to write a script which 'grabs' any html page from a specified url and emails it to selected email addresses. If you require something more complex just ask for further assistance.

Hope this helps :) Nick (Web Developer)
