HTML Editing and Viewing 1

Hi. I am trying to write a mail client (like Microsoft Outlook Express) and I would like some help with my compose message screen. I want to have three view modes for the actual message bit - Edit, Edit Source, and Preview (like Outlook has). Only I don't know how to do the edit bit - the preview I would use an IE control for and the edit source an RTF box, but I am stuck on the edit. Can anybody tell me - or even better, email code to me for how to make this edit feature, where it shows your HTML and lets you edit it at the same time?
I don't know if I have been clear enough - if you don't understand what I am asking, tell me and I'll try and be more specific.
