I am relatively new to HTML and would like to know a good site to go to for tutorials and information so I can get up to speed fast.

I would start with Barnes & Noble or Borders books and get a good tutorial book for HTML beginners. That's where most developers get started.

Or go to and run a search on HTML tutorials, etc..

one that I began with was Webmonkey. I forget the actual URL, but just look up Webmonkey on any search engine, and it'll pop up.

I learned HTML and JavaScript and got introduced to PHP Perl and XML at htmlgoodies.com hes has pretty much everything a begginer needs to know to learn HTML. And he is funny and anti-technical.

Just to let you know that I'm not a COMPLETE moron, that wasn't the site address when I was using it. (Don't I feel like a dolt now, though!)
