hi all..

i was just reading for my CCNP: Switching exam, and i noticed that the new exam study guide from Sybex has but one topic covered in the older study guides from Cisco Press.. HSRP..

i wonder, is this topic still examinable by Cisco..?.. looking at their website, HSRP is not part of the course outline for CCNP: Switching 640-604...

all help appreciated..

now i took the cisco networking academy for mls. and hsrp is on of the chapters. i also had a few questions on the cert. test (i took the test a mounth ago) about hsrp. so yes you do need to know it for the test.
