I have no experience with HSRP.
I can telnet into the ethernet interface of the router shown in the partial config below and look at the config.
When I telnet into the standby router, I see the exact same config down.
When I do a "sh int", both routers have the same mac address.
Since both routers cannot have the same mac address, I am obviously connected to the same router using both the primary and standby router addresses.
There are several sites configured with two routers at each site using HSRP and I am getting the same results.
What is the deal?
