Has anyone seen this error message when backing up Exchange server 5.5 on NT 4.0

Hi,

Make sure that there are no nsrxchsv processes running on the Exchange server.

Thanks. Since the problem occured I got it to work by recycling NetWorker Remote Exec Service.

The question is.... How do you prevent the service from hanging? Or what causes it to hang?

The times I've seen it, a backup tried to run when one was already running. If it happens again, make sure you have no pending tape mounts, and no nsrxchsv processes are on the box...

We have seen this in our environment and it seems to point to an old version of the Exchange BSM. Legato suggests an upgrade of the Exchange BSM to the lastest 5.5 release, which I beleive is 2.0 patch 002.
