Hi.

I have this problem that HP openview is showing too many segments from a cat 6000. In these segments the only device is the cat 6000 itself. So there are about 60 of these segments while the cat 6000 has much more interfaces than that. So HPOV doesn’t create a segment per interface. Does anybody know what the problem could be or how I could get rid of these segments without hiding them?

The switch is a WS-C6509.
HP openview version 7.1 (segredux is on)
Integrated ciscoworks with hp openview.

Go to the file netmon.lrf and type in at the same spot segRedux-true
Example:
OVs_YES_START:eek:vtopmd,pmd,ovwdb:p -k segRedux=true -m0x80020:OVs_WELL_BEHAVED:15:pAUSE
