I have just allocated 4 X 50Gb Luns to my new HP server and gone through the whole LVM process of creating volume group etc. Now as you can see I used the fsadm command to enable large file support, from what I remember last time I did this it put the entry for the new file system into /etc/fstab or me, is this correct?

# fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles /dev/vg_san/rproj

Have a look in /etc/fstab ... can't remember, doen't think it does it for you.

You will need to put the following into your /etc/fstab file:

/dev/vg_san/rproj "mountpoint" vxfs rw,suid,largefiles,delaylog 0 2
