I am trying to configure a HP Web console to a hp-ux version 11, I want to know where I can configure on the hp-ux the DATACOM (baud rate, parity/data bits, parity checking, recvpace/xmitpace ) in order to access the unix box from the web console.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I have never had to do this.

Web consoles are just plugged into the console port.
You have to do a bit of configuration E.g.
Assign an IP address and root password.

About the hardest thing to do is to remember the default ip address that is assigned to the web console.

Regards

Paul

Paul:
Thanks for your help
when I open the web console I am not able to see the unix box, I can ping my gateway, I can ping the web console, what do you normally see when you open the access console?
I am connecting the web console to the unix box with a serial cable (null) 25 pins.

Any ideas ?

regards,
Alberto
