HP Printer Beeping

Anybody ever run accross an HP 4000 that beeps for evey page it prints?
Somebody must have messed it up because it never used to.
I have tried everything short of a hammer to stop it, any ideas?

hapen also in the auto test?

change the interface.. if the printer is using actualy the

lan port probe changing to lpt port.
