I need to find a compatible driver for an HP OfficeJet V40.
The server is W2K and I am pretty sure the client is Windows '98. I don't see a listing for any V series printers in the WTSUPRN.inf file. Of course, the HP website only offers executable installation files.
My client is in Hong Kong, so I would like to figure it out without having to spend too much time on the phone with him.
I know all the tricks on how to force a printer to be recognized, but I don't know how to exctract the driver files from an executable...
Anyone have any success with this printer?
Thanks!
Kristine
