The printer will receive and print faxes, will copy and print, but at times will not print on command. Error messages say replace printheads, which I have done. Have done partial and full resets, which allow me to use the printer a number of times before the error messages come up. Am running Windows XP Pro. After resetting, the self test report says printheads are OK. Hellllp

I keep getting "scanner error" messages and have to turn off the printer and wait while it self-tests and then restart it. It fixes the problem for about a day.
Is the answer to "reset" the printer? How do I do that?
