HP ML350 G3

We have a brand new ml350 g3, which has a few problems, we keep getting a red light on the front panel which indicates inside health is critical. Took the side panel off and looked inside, there is a red light next to the server. does this mean that the processor has gone tits up? i have taken the processor out and put back in, anyone else had this trouble?

Hi, you might want to post this in the "Compaq Servers" forum cuz that where all the ProLiant people hang out. This forum is more for older 'Netservers'. (I know, since the merger, it is all "HP" but what can I tell ya, this is the way it is)

Have you booted the machine since you have seen this red light?? on booting you should see both processors...
If not it tells you the processor has failed...

did you install the second processor yourself?
