Hi

I have a HP LJ 9050n that has a Error Card Slot Not Initialized.

I think it's a possible Firmware issue.

Thanks
Paul

Got an error #? It helps to give up all info you can.
It could be a personality card, or a HD that is installed.
Try to re-flash the firmware.

Hi
The Printer is a HP LJ 9050n Mono Printer Q3722A.

The Error Error Card Slot Not Initialized. The Printer has a 32MB compact flash memory card As firmware. We have tried to reseat the Firmware & memory Changed the formatter board but the error still shows up on the Printer.
I think it's the firmware error

I would like to know if anyone else has come across this error.

Can you communicater with the printer ? Eventually check the event log to obtain info what slot is not initialized.
If the printer does not boot up at all but halts with the error, it is most likely a defective FW flash dimm that needs to be reprogrammed or replaced.

Hi

Thanks for the help it was the Firmware, Compact flash type. I was unable to flash it so I purchased on from a camera shop and and installed it and managed to flash it by parallel port.

Thanks
Again
