HP Laserjet 5L-need update driver disk 1

I have lost update disk for printer. Disks I have are for Win 95. I must have update so I can install HP scanjet 4P that uses scuzzi card. Also need it so I can install my Winfax pro fax software. I had the disk but it is lost!
I cannot find out anything from HP! I have written, e-mailed and spoken to nice people on the phone. NO HELP.No one knows anything. I tried to download from the web but it did not work.
HP will sell me new drivers(floppies) but cannot tell me what the disks are or if they will even work. Thanks for any help.

First of all what exactly do you have a 5L or 4P.....then maybe I or some one can help you with the download.

It is HP 5L Lasertjet printer. Floppies are for win 95 and I am running Win 98. Cannot get up-date disk from HP and net download is unsuccessful. thanks.

HP Laserjet 5L with Win 95 disks. Using Win 98 on computer.
I downloaded the driver( file: lj622.en.exe ) from the HP site, unzipped it, rebooted, installed the Win 95 disks, rebooted, etc. It still does not work in that I cannot install my fax or scanner- some printer files are still missing. Is there some special order I am to do this installing of the printer software? thanks.
Everything worked before but I had to clean off my entire hard-drive and now cannot put things back together.
