Hi,
I have a HP 2300dn and it will not print anything for me. All that it's saying is "Cartridge installed" on its LCD.
I have restarted it on a number of occasions but it still returns this message.
Sounds like something is wrong with the toner... During the initializing process when you first turn the printer on it will find the toner cartridge and say "Cartridge installed" ... then it should return to the ready state....
My first question is if you are using a new HP toner or a referb.. My first test would be to toss in another HP toner cart.. either the electronics or the contacts on this cartridge arent working properly....
The printer is hanging when its trying to pull the info off of the toner cartridge..
If that is a 615N network card, there is a chance HP will replace it under a service note, provided the serial number is within the range. I don't have that info right now, but posted the serial range for the problematic network cards in another post.
