Knob; great answer to my last question! But here is the stickler,,, I am wanting to use print capture to print to a HP laser 1320 printer. Once I get print capture turned on I cant seem to get any printer escape codes to work. I am trying to get the printer to print in landscape and when I send the escape codes to do that(or any escape codes for that matter) they are printed as output along with my text that I want printed in landscape" Does anybody know how to get the escape codes to be processed and not printed?
Thanks alot

I am running Procomm 4.8. with Open VMS. Your suggestion about the print capture works pretty good and once I actually figured out what to do it was pretty easy. The one bad side affect is that when the print is done I guess XP takes control to tell me the document has printed successfully which takes control away from Procomm. You must then "click" on the procomm window to get control back. Do you know of a way around that as well? But my new issue seems to be that once I turn print capture on I cant send any more escape codes to the printer as they just end up getting printed on the page as text.
Thanks alot for your help!
Kyle

Sorry here, VT100 emulation and the first escape sequence I send to Procomm is the print capture on or chr$(27) + "[5i]". I am then trying to send chr$(27) + "&l1O" which is supposed to set the printer to landscape.
Thanks
Kyle

There is an error in my previous response. The print capture is chr$(27) + "[5i"
