HP Inkjet cp1700

Hello,

I am looking for purchasing a CP1700 printer for implentation into our network at work. We will be adding the optional jetdirect 200m module to allow for IP printing.

Does anyone have experience with this printer? Or is there a better wide format printer out there for about the same price?

Did you go ahead and buy this printer? We have 2 and they have nothing but trouble with them. We print via 2 x Jetdirect 300EX print servers, both with JetDirect printing and IP Printing. Both methods cause the printers to randomly freeze, and it takes a lot of restarting of printer and Jet Boxes to get them working again.

Have you had any luck with the JD200 module?

We did end up getting one. We added the network print server module, plugged it in and its been workin great. We really havent had any major problems with it.
