HP Deskjet 1120C problem

I have an 1120C running off USB/Parallel in OSX 10.3.2

Although the OS recognises the printer it only prints a couple of lines of text before hanging the print utility.

Any tips on what is required here?

My printer has the same problem. I´m not 100% sure (yet) but it is propably faulty logic board. I have checked almost everything else. It´s the only place left...

Does it print let´s say 7 lines? That is the symptom in my 1120c

Actually I gave up shortly after that post. Apologies. In fact I use the 1120C with a PC to print orchestral music scores (Sibelius) and it works fine - so I would not suspect the printer is faulty. However I did not succeed in getting 1120C to work with my Mac rig and purchased a separate USB printer for that. I will try again with Mac 10.4.x because perhaps there was a parallel/USB driver issue. Ian
