hp dc7600 gigabit

anyone ever had any issues with the hp/compaq dc7600 doing gigabit? have a machine here that has had new onboard NIC drivers, bios update, and installed an internal NIC and updated those drivers. No matter what the machine refuses to recognize the gigabit. Have interface on the cisco 3560g configured for gig but no dice. :(

issue fixed, machine would run 100mb but wouldnt touch 1gbps. Eventually after swapping out cables from the patch panel to the switch and into a different switch it stopped functioning all together. tested it with our fluke and pin 4 was open, the keystone on the patch panel was bad, new keystone = working gigabit.
