HP CD-RW writer plus doesn work in Win NT 4.0

After I installed Win NT 4.0, sp 6a, I cannot write to an HP cd-rw +800&nbsp;&nbsp;using adaptec easy cd creator 3.5c.&nbsp;&nbsp;The drive does work as a read-only cd-rom. i applied spooler patch q243649.exe. couldnt find any help at ataptec or ms. I ran the dmacheck.exe and aspichk w/no problems.<br>Any suggestions.<br>thnx<br>steve<br>

I did have latest drivers from HP. I did reloaded adaptec cd creator from the HP recover cd (disk 2 \empty) and it found the cd=rw! Originaly i loaded a generic copy of adaptec.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
