HP 8000 not fusing,no errors

Hi I'm new here and hope I did this right.I have a customer that has an HP-8000. From tray 1 it seems to not fuse correctly.It may not fuse from other trays but they complain about tray 1. The printer gets no errors but the toner comes off. We have changed the fuser twice and the DC controller. Nothing seems to help. Hp now suggests changing the wiring harness the fuser plugs into,but its a project and am looking for any other suggestions.

Is the Toner cartridge HP or 3rd party ?
Check the printer config for fuser settings ?

I work in this field and can assure you it is not the toner cartridge or in the configs. Those machines can be pretty picky and it is most likely the wire harness, unfortantly.

It ended up being a problem with the media they print on. I had the users set the media type to card stock and now its fine. Thanks for the response.
