When I try to print 1 sheet or multiple sheets the printer grabs 3 to 4 pieces of paper at a time. I have to feed 1 sheet of paper at a time. Any ideas on how to fix ? Thanks in advance.

Try different paper?

Sometimes, you can clean the rollers in some printers - if you can get to them easily enough - and that'll fix it. It's common for excess ink or toner, dust, etc, to get stuck to the rollers, and then that makes it grab more or less than for what they're designed.

It is also possible that the paper is damp, maybe from being in humid conditions too long. try some fresh, dry, brand new paper. the other thing to try is to leaf through the stack of paper, seperating the pieces and getting some air in between the sheets.

Thanks for your input, im still having problems with the printer but appreciate your help !

If the printer has a removable tray, remove it, and look for small rubber rollers, clean these with a rag and alcohol. If the tray can't be removed, than go to office depot, staples or another office supply store, and look for printer cleaning sheets. they will be a rougher paper, that has a slight accordion folds in the paper with a cleaning solution for the paper. Either way the issue is the pickup rollers.
