In the past few days our HP 5si laser printer has been printing out from the side rather than the top. We have always left the output with the default setting of autoselect, which would send the paper to the top face-down. But in the past few days it has been printing out to the side. This has been happening to all of our XP Pro users and only one Win 2k user. I manually changed the output to the top, but for whatever reason the paper still comes out the side for some of the users. If it helps any, in the past couple of weeks we have given several users, who were using a PC with Win 2k, new PCs with XP Pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like someone changed the destination output for the printer on the server's printer queue. Go to the server storing the queue, and check it in the properties of the printer in Start-->Settings-->Printers.

Well, I guess I should also mention that our File and Print Server has Novell 4. And nothing was changed on the server.
