Howto - Routing tables

I can not ping from 10.6.1.131 to 128.1.2.6(SCO server.)
I can ping ping from 10.6.1.131 to 128.1.2.9((Unix server) same remote site as the SCO server.
I can ping from 128.1.2.9 to 128.1.2.6

How do I add a route to my routing table on the SCO server to enable me to ping from and to 10.6.1.131

Gateway to 10.6.0.0 is 100.6.2.250

Routing tables on 128.1.2.6

route add -net 10.6.0.0 -netmask 255.255.0.0 100.6.2.250

but this assumes that 100.6.2.250 is accessable thru your default route of 128.1.10.1


...ps, it looks like you gave us the routing table for 128.1.2.9 not 128.1.2.6

hmmm....thinking some more... (ouch)

Assuming that was you routing table on 128.1.2.9 and it apparently works then you just need to duplicate it on 128.1.2.6

route add default 128.1.10.1

Am sorry the previous route table is for 128.1.2.6.

Nope, I have not change any IP but it is working fine.
