How'd they do that?

Does anyone know how to make it so I can do this on my Win2k Server?
If you goto junk.50megs.com and then goto stuff.50megs.com they load seperate web content, but are run off the same web server. Obvously when you goto junk.50megs.com it points you too

http://www.50megs.com/junk

, but how can I configure my DNS to do the same?

The answer you seek is called secondary domain.

First have your DNS servers updated to have an alias to the name you want. Example: sales.yoursite.com You can either have that new name point to a different IP address or the same. If you always point to the same try something line *.yoursite.com as a catch all for all secondary domain names.

Under IIS setup your site as you would any other, except select the same IP address as the one of your server. Click the Advanced button next to the IP address and then click ADD or edit if there ias already something in there. Where it says Host Header Name, enter in your alias to look for. In this case sales.yoursite.com. Your port is most likely a defualt of 80 unless you need it changed. Click OK.

When you request sales.yoursite.com DNS will take it to the correct server, but IIS will resolve it to the right site.

Can't you just create a host header (junk.50megs.com) and point it to (

http://www.50megs.com/junk)?

I think you can.. Make sure you have a default.htm or any other supported default document, to be fired when the dir is called.
