Well as always I am turning to you guys. I need help in defining the term node as it relates to a CS1000E and doing a IP phone. Be as detailed as you can. Thank you!

A node is just a "device,Segment" on your network. What are you trying to accomplish?

Eh, someone wanted a definition and I can't find anything on the Nortel sites about what it really means. When you have to put what node you are using on a soft phone, they want that right there defined.

A point of connection into a Network. In multi-point Nerworks, it's a unit that's polled. LAN's, a device on the ring. Packet Switched Networks, one of the many packet switches which form the backbone.
